I've been working on a storyboard/series that is part of my other 'hungry' paintings [link]

I work traditional with ink and water. I like to paint this way in a minimalistic manner. Not that I can't afford any paint, its just more powerful..

Format is 21x29 cm regular drawing paper.

I don't know if you're familiar with Stephen Gammel's work (he did the illustration for Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark), but your work is very reminiscent of his. It's so...almost free form and amourphous, that there's an absolute air of macabre--whether you mean for there to be or not. It's brilliant work, actually. I love the emotions and intense feelings I get from this: chills, fear, awe, excitement. I just love your work, Mate. Keep bringin' more to the table.
