The wall by egilpaulsen The wall by egilpaulsen
Concept art for a film project I am working for these days. The symbols and figures aren't supposed to make sense. it's just rubbish doodles of fractals and improvised geometric shapes. He spent years drawing spectacular worlds and creatures that came to life in his imagination. This is the moment when he realizes that he been hallucinating - like waking up from a dream you were so sure was real.

man this is awesome, I like the figure's anatomy, and abstract and gritty texture on the wall is very appealing, I'm glad I discovered your work.

Stunning. I would love to see the film.

also the light on the figure is really, really lovely. You work really well in the lower value ranges, which i don't think is too easy to accomplish.

!! I love the idea behind this.

I actually found this by searching for my own deviation (also called The Wall) (how lame is it that I was searching myself? xD)

I really like the piece though as well, and I love how it isn't supposed to make sense!

it's difficult to make out the significances of this wall he stairs at, so... glued by... not a fan of the snow flake brush. it's still quite luring at first glance.
