Banana by egilpaulsen Banana by egilpaulsen
An experimental piece I painted as water continuously were pouring over the canvas.

As the canvas seemed more like a river constantly in change, every brush stroke was a fight in order to make it stay.

There are too many pictures in the world. Every new picture becomes one of them the moment they are made :)

i thought it looked like a banana melting, then my brain went to a banana split gone wrong, and i giggled a little. I love it though, it's a really interesting take on a banana. :D

i dont think of pictures as complete, they are all constantly changing, even changing(even down to the thought process of any individual) by the understanding and knowledge one has.

this is different to me now, compared to last time i saw it:)

id say much of the thought and idea when painting that brush stroke disappears when its done, because in a way it was a snapshot of a thought or activity in that moment. In that case the picture has changed the next time you see it?

how is it different to you now from last time you saw it? The white balance? :) I did exhibit it in a dark corner, leaning towards the wall :)
